England Tour Pakistan For T20 and Test Series 2022-23

The England cricket team is scheduled to tour Pakistan to play three Test matches and seven Twenty20 International (T20I) matches from September to December 2022. These Test matches will be part of the 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship.

In November 2021, Tom Harrison, chief executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), visited Pakistan to mend relations between the ECB and the PCB following the cancellation of England’s tour of Pakistan in October 2021. After positive discussions, the original tour program of five T20I matches was extended to seven. The T20Is will be played with the first Test matches to follow the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia.] In April 2022, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that the series would take place. In July 2022, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja said that T20I matches are likely to be held in Lahore and Karachi. The details of the T20I series were confirmed on 2 August 2022. Later, the Test series itinerary was announced on 22 August. 2022
