Kaala Doriya Episode-1 Review: An Other Promising Rom-Com
From the makers of the blockbuster Ramadan drama serial Chupke Chupke, Hum TV presents the romantic comedy Kaala Doriya which looks quite promising. The Ramadan serial is written by none other than the star writer Saima Akram Chaudhry who has several mega hit rom-coms like Suno Chanda, Hum Tum, Chipke Chipke, Ishq Jalebi. The drama is directed by the super talented Danish Nawaz. We have already seen this director-writer combo in Hum Chupke Chupke and Hum Tum so the expectations from this new project are automatically quite high.
Kaala Doriya Powerful Cast

The cast of Kaala Doriya includes Usman Khalid Butt and Sana Javed in the lead roles, while the supporting cast includes Zainab Qayyum, Khalid Anam, Shahzad Noor, and most of the usual Saima Akram drama actors except for social media sensations Tamkunt Mansoor and Taimur. . We have seen Farhan Ali Agha, Samina Ahmed, Nadia Afghan, and Sohail Samir and Ali Safina in previous Ramadan serials.

Kaala Doriya Episode 1 Comic Scenes
The highlight of this episode is the fight and comic scenes between Mahnoor and Asfand. Well, their hatred doesn’t seem to turn into a love story, but let’s see how Saima Chaudhry’s full romance works. Asfand’s Phappho Bantu is also worth watching, her jealousy and madness alone make her an enviable character. Nadia Afghan’s Punjabi is back to entertain us. His Punjabi idioms are awesome which gives a cherry on top vibes. Can’t wait for the next episode to see how the story develops. Enjoyed the first episode so far which suggested it as a promising Rom-Com!
