WhatsApp security update: Double verification feature Update
WhatsApp security update: double verification feature could be in the works to prevent fraud

WhatsApp has become a platform for many fraudsters to try and deceive money from victims who are not suspicious.
According to Wabaainfo, news and update websites about WhatsApp, the dual verification code can be used to try and prevent further attacks.
This is because Cyber attackers often try and use the WhatsApp account with one verification code at this time.
They do this by pretending to be someone who is official and needs a code.
After the code, they can enter your account, and by pretending to be you, they send messages to your friends and family.
What is Double verification?
Double verification is when you receive two verification codes, not one.
WhatsApp aims to send an additional verification code separate from the first received via text message when entering from a new device.
If you receive a second code from WhatsApp, it will act as an indicator that someone tries to hack your account, and you should not share the code with anyone.
This feature is still being developed, and may not even achieve results.
How to recognize fraud?
Scammers will try and contact you suddenly, and try to ask for a sense of urgency.
Avoid rushing into anything and don’t call to an unknown number.
If you know about fraud, report on WhatsApp through settings, and report it to fraud.
